UX Designer
I executed the role of the UX designer tasked with creating a space that was simply a starting point for users to learn more about this product/service and what it has to offer.
-
I was tasked with creating a landing page/s for potential clients to learn about and begin building trust with the Kinexx and their products/services offered. The focus was on keeping it clean, simple, and informative not to overwhelm but to aid a user and begin a relationship with the potential customer. It is a bridge to spark ideas for users to get them excited for the possibilities that lay ahead.

With numerous calls and meetings with Kinexx for this website we hashed through branding and really worked to develop a look for how they wanted to be viewed. We went through a variety of design phases that helped visualize what information we wanted to be expressed not only to people who already have an understanding of the services and products but also for people who have never heard of modular construction previously. We worked to create bios to help people feel more connected to the company as well as showcased pictures to develop an understanding of the process of what Kinexx is about.

Comparative Analysis

The Kinexx website is a series of landing page/s for users and potential customers alike to find out information that will help them get started on their journey to build a modular home. It serves as a platform to answers a variety of client questions. For example we answer: why modular; explaining the difference between standard stick build and modular construction to help sceptics become more trusting and those who are already informed feel a little more informed. Company profiles were included to help build trust and connection with the brand of the product. Products are shown to help users know what modular constructions are available to be built currently. News is available to show what people are saying about the brand and use it as testimonial to further build trust. Kinexx’s responsive and minimal design really keeps the user focused and helps make more of a statement with the information that is included.
